The future of gaming. Advanced.
The “Why”
In 2016, Nintendo introduced the “Classic Edition” line of mini consoles, preloaded with dozens of retro games at an affordable price. As digital gaming has superannuated the need for physical collectible hardware, I aimed to recapture the magic of my childhood in a form factor that was familiar, yet realistic.

The “What”
Sticking as closely to the original packaging as possible, the goal was to imagine what a new GameBoy would make sure to advertise; in this case, the games included! Taking inspiration from existing classic consoles allowed me to get an idea of what would be most important to advertise, and crucially, how to revitalize the brand identity.
