In 2016, Nintendo introduced the “Classic Edition” line of mini consoles, preloaded with dozens of retro games at an affordable price. As digital gaming has superannuated the need for physical collectable hardware, I aimed to recapture the magic of my childhood in a form factor that was familiar, yet realistic.
